What is dry ice?

Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide (CO₂), frozen at -78.5°C. Unlike regular ice, it sublimates directly into gas without leaving any liquid residue, making it ideal for cooling, preservation, and special effects.

Store dry ice in an insulated container (not airtight) to slow sublimation. Keep it in a well-ventilated area, away from children and pets. Avoid storing it in a sealed container, as pressure buildup can cause it to burst.
